The stainless steel or special alloy steels are steels which combine typical mechanical properties of steels, other distinctive features are the following:

  • Hygiene: cleansing, and thus the maintenance of the metal tank is much easier and efficient. The sanitation, which is not usually given its determining value, represents for the industrial preparation of a fermented product as a key problem, as the quality of raw material.
  • Strength and durability: stainless ensures lasting almost unlimited in time and does not require any regular maintenance. It only requires a careful cleaning.
  • The inertia of the material: The choice of the used material influences the chemical composition of liquids, their sensory characteristics and more generally the quality of the final product. However the inertia of steel does not alter all the organoleptic properties of the products which it comes into contact with.
  • Malleability: the malleability of this product allows you to forge the containers with a shaping that radically simplifies its use.
Now for all these reasons the use of stainless steel in the food sector is an established fact.
